  1. PULPTIME: Dust Jacket - A black ink and gray color pencil drawing on an 11 x 14 vellum paper. It appears on the dust jacket of "Pulptime" by Peter Cannon, published by Paul Ganley (Weirdbook), 1984.

The man in the middle of the drawing is H.P. Lovecraft, the other man is Frank Belknap Long. Both men authored fantasy and horror fiction during the Golden Age of pulp magazines. Lovecraft is often ranked with Edgar Allan Poe. Long did not achieve that kind of high ranking, nevertheless, he was a noted writer of the genre

In the 1930s a small literary group came into being called "The Kalem Club". The original members were, Frank Belknap Long, Rheinhart Kleiner, Samuel Loveman, James Ferdinand Morton, and Howard Phillips Lovecraft. The Kalem Club was probably the world's first organized group of fantasy/horror fans. This short crime novel involves the Kalem Club and Sherlock Holmes.
